Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of getbearplan.com and related pages operated by California First Roofing (CSLB License #1094851 · Class B & C-39). By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

This site describes the Bear Protection Plan, lets you request information, and lets enrolled members manage their membership. Information on the site is provided for general purposes and does not constitute a binding offer or a roofing inspection, diagnosis, or professional recommendation for your specific property.

The Bear Protection Plan is a prepaid service contract for roof maintenance and repair provided by California First Roofing. It is not an insurance policy, home warranty from a third party, or a guarantee against all roof loss. It does not replace your homeowner's insurance.

Coverage, exclusions, repair allowances, response times, transfer rights, and cancellation are set out in the Member Service Agreement you accept at enrollment. Where anything on this site differs from that agreement, the Member Service Agreement controls.

Membership is a one-time $1,000 enrollment fee plus $290 per month, billed to the payment method you provide until cancelled under the terms of the Member Service Agreement. Prices shown on this site are current at the time of publication and may change for new enrollments. Taxes and fees may apply. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor; you agree to its handling of your card details.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current — service scheduling and billing depend on it. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

When using this site, you agree not to:

• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours.
• Interfere with, probe, or disrupt the site, its security controls, or its infrastructure.
• Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information, including false referral attributions.
• Copy, scrape, or reuse site content, branding, marketing materials, or QR assets for a competing offer.
• Use the site to send unsolicited commercial messages.

Referral codes, QR posters, flyers, and partner cards are licensed to the named real estate partner for the limited purpose of referring clients to the Bear Protection Plan. Partners may not alter the plan's terms, pricing, or coverage statements in any material they distribute, and may not represent themselves as employees or agents of California First Roofing. We may revoke a referral code at any time.

The Bear Protection Plan name, the California First Roofing name and logo, site design, and written content are owned by California First Roofing and may not be used without written permission.

The site links to third-party sites, including californiafirstroofing.com, license and accreditation lookups, and our payment processor. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we do not operate.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is complete or current. Roof conditions vary by property; nothing on this site is a promise of a particular outcome for your roof.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, California First Roofing is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits our obligations under the Member Service Agreement or any liability that cannot be limited under California law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for any dispute relating to this site is Los Angeles County, California, unless the Member Service Agreement provides otherwise for membership disputes.

We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the current version, and continued use of the site after an update means you accept it.
